Remedial Plumber

About the role

An experienced Remedial Plumber is required to work on commercial sites across Southwark and surrounding areas. The role involves carrying out plumbing repairs, remedial works and water‑hygiene tasks to keep client systems compliant with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor temperature and perform water sampling.
• Service, test and inspect thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and fail‑safe mechanisms.
• Inspect, clean and disinfect cold‑water storage tanks.
• Inspect calorifiers and hot‑water systems.
• Repair or replace float valves, Keraflow valves and equilibrium float valves.
• Resolve leaking overflows, faulty pipework and perform pipe alterations.
• Replace stopcocks and modify systems as required.
• Remove dead‑legs and carry out pipework alterations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Remedial Plumber.
• Full plumbing qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
