Remediation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Remediation Engineer to join a leading environmental restoration company based in Warrington. You will work on contaminated land projects across the North West, collaborating with multidisciplinary consultancies to assess and treat pollution.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and evaluate contaminated sites throughout the region.
• Develop and implement remediation strategies and designs.
• Coordinate with consultants, laboratory teams, and junior engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Support project management activities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in contaminated land remediation and design.
• Ability to work independently on site and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
