Remediation Project Manager

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to lead complex building safety and structural remediation programmes across a large residential portfolio. You will own projects from early instruction through to completion, ensuring homes are safer and better managed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of building safety and structural remediation projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, managing agents and developers to keep programmes on track.
• Monitor progress, manage risk and drive solutions when challenges arise.
• Oversee project budgets, funding arrangements and cost control, ensuring strong financial governance.
• Manage applications and reporting for government remediation funding schemes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Support cost recovery through Section 20 processes and engagement with non‑qualifying leaseholders.
• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and related regulations, including CDM.
• Maintain accurate project records, audit trails and the “Golden Thread” of building information.
• Provide clear updates through reports, KPIs and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in residential property management and/or Section 20 processes.
• Strong understanding of building safety legislation, particularly the Building Safety Act 2022.
• Knowledge of remediation processes and funding schemes.
• Proven experience delivering or overseeing complex construction, refurbishment or remediation projects with multiple stakeholders.
