Remote Accountant – Full-time

About the role

Majestic Accountants Limited is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its remote team on a full‑time basis. You will support a diverse portfolio of clients by delivering accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping and prepare/review financial statements.
• Prepare tax returns, assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Reconcile accounts and produce management reports for clients.
• Respond to client queries regarding financial performance and tax matters.
• Collaborate with team members, keep accurate records, and utilise digital accounting tools.

Required profile

• Strong background in bookkeeping, accounts preparation and financial statement reporting.
• Solid knowledge of tax compliance and basic tax planning principles.
• At least part‑qualified ACCA, ACA or AAT.
• Minimum two years of experience in an accounting practice.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate clearly in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
• Experience in account reconciliation and preparing management reports.
