Remote ESL Teacher (1-on-1 Online)

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is looking for experienced ESL teachers to deliver 1‑on‑1 online lessons to students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work remotely from the UK, set your own schedule, and teach 50‑minute sessions that follow the Cosmo curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for K‑12 ESL students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app promptly.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all classes on time from a quiet, private location.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years teaching K‑12 ELA and ESL learners.
• Familiarity with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU 6000).
• Commitment to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week, between 8‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT (weekends).
• Current residence in the United Kingdom.
