Removals Surveyor

About the role

We are partnering with a leading national removals and storage provider to recruit a Removals Surveyor. This field‑based sales position involves visiting customers at their homes or businesses, assessing their moving needs and delivering tailored quotes.

Key responsibilities

• Attend domestic, commercial and international move appointments.
• Conduct detailed surveys and create customised removal plans.
• Generate accurate quotations using internal systems.
• Convert inbound leads into confirmed bookings.
• Compete against other providers to win business.
• Proactively generate new opportunities and target accounts.
• Maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Contribute to local sales strategy and branch growth.

Required profile

• Experience in the removals industry or strong field‑sales background in a consultative, face‑to‑face environment.
• Proven track record of quoting, closing deals and meeting targets.
• Confident presenting solutions in customers’ premises.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
