Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing (Winchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join a leading UK contractor working on social housing repairs and maintenance. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Winchester and involves coordinating a wide range of maintenance activities to ensure properties are kept in good condition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and allocate work through the planning system.
• Maintain operatives’ diaries and oversee general administration.
• Plan repairs and maintenance requests, matching tasks to the appropriate trade and location.
• Liaise with operatives, tenants, clients, councils and housing agents.
• Control documentation, ensuring worksheets are received and checked.
• Track progress against individual and client KPIs, handling routine, essential and emergency works.
• Coordinate appointments, materials, logistics and external supply companies.
• Ensure trades are on‑site and work is completed within agreed client dates.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Planner / Scheduler on a social housing contract (main contractor or RSL).
• Excellent time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with repairs and maintenance software.
