Repairs Scheduler – Housing Association

About the role

We are looking for a Repairs Scheduler to join a housing association and coordinate minor repair work both outside and inside properties. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid pattern after training.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule daily appointments for operatives covering Manchester and Wigan.
• Allocate jobs for external repairs such as roofing, grounds maintenance and outdoor works.
• Allocate jobs for internal responsive repairs including electrics, plumbing, joinery and general maintenance.
• Handle incoming calls, update scheduling systems and ensure operatives receive accurate information.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and service teams.

Required profile

• Experience in scheduling, planning or coordination.
• Strong customer service orientation and confidence handling calls.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail when updating systems and allocating jobs.
• Knowledge of repairs or housing maintenance is helpful but not essential.
