Research Facilitator – Humanities Division

About the role
The Humanities Division at the University of Oxford is seeking a full‑time Research Facilitator on a fixed‑term two‑year contract. You will work within the Research Support team, helping scholars develop and submit funding bids across a wide range of humanities projects.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and promote research funding opportunities relevant to specific faculties.
- Act as the first point of contact for academic staff seeking support with funding applications.
- Assist researchers in developing bid proposals, including budgeting and cost modelling.
- Guide applications through the university’s internal approval and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to maximise research impact.
Required profile
- Strong interest in humanities research and academic environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
