Reservations Agent

About the role

Join Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere as a Reservations Agent and be the first point of contact for guests seeking a luxurious stay. You will create seamless, personalised booking experiences that reflect the resort’s 5‑star standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservation enquiries via phone, email and online channels with professional, luxury‑aligned service.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through personalised recommendations and product knowledge.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, capturing preferences, loyalty details and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Manage room allocations, VIP and special‑attention bookings, and support group or corporate reservations.
• Process payments, deposits and billing in line with Fairmont and UK financial procedures.
• Promote upsell opportunities such as room upgrades, dining, spa treatments and packages.
• Ensure reservation data accuracy within the PMS and booking systems.
• Participate in daily briefings and uphold Fairmont grooming, communication and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel reservations, front office or a similar hospitality role.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while delivering a high‑quality guest experience.
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.
