Reserving Actuarial Analyst

About the role

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Reserving Actuarial Analyst for a leading healthcare organisation. The role sits within a growing actuarial team that is undergoing a major transformation. You will support reserving reviews and help improve processes, providing insight for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of reserving reviews, including analysis, assumption setting and explaining key movements.
• Contribute to the development and transformation of reserving processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency and insight.
• Collaborate with actuarial, pricing, claims, finance and capital teams to deliver analysis that informs decision‑making.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across actuarial processes, including reconciliation to source systems.
• Document methodologies, assumptions and processes clearly.
• Provide reserving insight to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified actuary making strong progress towards full qualification.
• Significant reserving experience within insurance or consultancy.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Confident communicator able to present technical findings clearly.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and projects.
