Residential Conveyancer – Fee Earner (Preston)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our growing Residential Conveyancing team in Preston. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while supporting colleagues and contributing to the department’s expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Progress existing and new files efficiently and proactively.
• Supervise conveyancing files and provide oversight where required.
• Support two qualified fee earners with day‑to‑day case management.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure high‑quality client service.
• Handle a varied mix of referral‑based instructions and general residential property transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, preferably in a fee‑earning capacity.
• Qualified solicitor (approximately 5 years PQE) or experienced non‑qualified conveyancer.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Experience supervising files and supporting colleagues within a conveyancing team.
• Collaborative, team‑focused approach.
