About the role

The firm, a Legal 500‑listed practice in Bristol, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer (or Licensed Conveyancer) to join its close‑knit team. The role involves managing residential property transactions for private clients across England and Wales, with a particular focus on shared‑ownership deals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end residential conveyancing transactions, including purchases, sales, staircasing, lease extensions and re‑mortgages.
• Provide specialist advice and administration for shared‑ownership properties and work on housing‑association panels.
• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Maintain high‑quality standards and meet monthly completion targets.

Required profile

• Significant experience in residential conveyancing, especially shared‑ownership work.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely work while taking responsibility for client outcomes.
• Organised, meticulous and comfortable working independently within a team.
• Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer practising in England and Wales.
