Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Eastbourne

About the role

A well‑established law firm in Eastbourne is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join its property team. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, covering sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish.
• Prepare and review contracts, deeds and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with conveyancing regulations and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Provide high‑quality client care and maintain clear communication.
• Utilise the firm’s IT systems and online property portals efficiently.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Proven ability to work independently on a busy caseload.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing compliance and AML regulations.
• Excellent client service skills.
