Residential Operations Manager – Care Homes

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Residential Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of three high‑quality care homes on the South Coast. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering excellent resident care, and driving commercial performance across 96 beds.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect sites, audit care processes and ensure compliance with CQC or local regulations.
• Manage clinical risk, safeguarding and incident reporting.
• Mentor and support Registered Care Home Managers, assisting with recruitment, training and retention.
• Oversee regional budgets, monitor KPIs such as occupancy rates and profit margins, and control costs for staffing, food and medical supplies.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and local health authorities, and promote the homes to increase occupancy.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑site management experience in a healthcare or residential care setting.
• Relevant management qualification – degree or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
• Demonstrated ability to balance high‑quality patient care with financial objectives.
