Residential Property Conveyancer

About the role

Our client, a long‑established, CQS‑accredited law firm in the North East, is looking for a Residential Property Conveyancer to join their Middlesbrough office. The role involves managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post‑completion, with occasional commercial work.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold, leasehold and right‑to‑buy transactions from start to finish.
• Prepare quotes, take client instructions and provide regular updates.
• Run purchase files independently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Attend client meetings and liaise with solicitors, lenders and other parties.
• Prioritise workload and ensure accurate, timely completion of matters.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced conveyancer with a solid residential portfolio.
• Ideally possesses both residential and commercial conveyancing experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent client‑care orientation.
