Residential Property Lawyer – £60k+ (DOE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join our established property team in Somerset. You will work within a collaborative department that blends decades of expertise with a modern, client‑focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential matters.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, introducers and local professional networks.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) as a Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Proven ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing.
• Excellent organisational, communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Commercial mindset with enthusiasm for business development and networking.
• Collaborative, proactive and solution‑focused attitude.
