Residential Property Paralegal – London

About the role

A well‑established law firm is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal to join its London Property team. You will support experienced partners and fee earners across the full residential conveyancing process, gaining hands‑on experience and developing client‑management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support fee earners on a broad range of residential property transactions.
• Manage your own caseload from file opening through to completion under supervision.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence and client communications.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Monitor key dates and transaction deadlines.
• Assist with exchange, completion and post‑completion matters.
• Support redemptions and transfer of funds.
• Update case management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure efficient progress of matters while delivering strong client service.

Required profile

• Organised and motivated individual with an interest in residential property law.
• Previous legal experience desirable but not essential.
• Law degree, LPC, CILEX/MILEX or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• Understanding of residential conveyancing or property law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach with willingness to learn.
