Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer

About the role

We are partnering with a vibrant, rapidly expanding firm in West Essex that is looking for a qualified solicitor, conveyancer or legal executive to join its busy residential property team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of residential transactions, providing high‑quality legal advice and ensuring smooth completion for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction to completion.
• Prepare and review conveyancing documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documents.
• Manage re‑mortgage transactions and transfers of equity.
• Conduct property searches, liaise with lenders, solicitors and clients, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, conveyancer or legal executive with at least one year of residential property experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
• Demonstrated discretion, resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and client‑focused approach.
