Residential Support Worker & Driver

About the role

Join Creative Support Ltd as a Residential Support Worker & Driver in Bromham, Bedford. You will help people with learning and physical disabilities live more independently and enjoy everyday activities in their community.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany service users on walks, outings, shopping trips and community activities.
• Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, toileting and medication administration.
• Support daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and using public transport.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, manage service documentation and help keep the residential setting running smoothly.
• Offer emotional support to service users and their families, encouraging confidence and social inclusion.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential for travelling to support users).
• Compassionate, energetic and motivated to make a positive difference.
• No prior experience with learning disabilities or autism required – a genuine desire to help is key.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the UK.

Required skills

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Ability to administer medication safely.
• Basic cooking and shopping skills.
• Confidence using public transport and navigating the local area.
