Residential Support Worker

About the role
This term‑time only position supports children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities in a residential setting. You will work Monday to Friday, helping residents develop life skills, gain independence, and enjoy educational and recreational activities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Assist residents in daily living tasks and encourage independence.
- Support emotional wellbeing and intervene during challenging moments as part of a team.
- Facilitate access to education, hobbies, and community activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean residential environment.
Required profile
- Compassionate, patient and resilient.
- Strong team player with clear communication skills.
- Reliable driver (public transport not feasible for site access).
