About the role

Join Kyloe House, a secure children’s home in Morpeth, delivering a trauma‑informed, nurturing environment for young people facing significant challenges. As a Residential Support Worker you will help create a safe, structured setting that promotes personal growth, education and life‑skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, compassionate care while maintaining a secure environment.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people at all times.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage resilience.
• Support daily routines, learning activities and independent living skills.
• Collaborate with education staff, health teams and external professionals to develop personalised care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated compassion and reliability in a residential care setting.
• Ability to work early, late and sleep‑in shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and ongoing safeguarding checks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
