Residential Surveyor – Flexible Consultancy (Up to £100k OTE)

About the role

We are seeking an AssocRICS‑qualified Residential Surveyor to join a fast‑growing chartered surveying practice on a consultancy basis. The role offers complete flexibility, allowing you to work from home while covering properties within a 25‑mile radius of your own location.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out RICS Home Surveys (Level 2/HomeBuyer Reports) for private clients.
• Undertake mortgage valuations for lenders.
• Produce high‑quality survey reports using industry‑leading reporting software.
• Manage your own diary and workload while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Collaborate with the support team to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Maintain professional standards and deliver accurate, compliant reports.

Required profile

• AssocRICS qualification (minimum) or higher.
• At least 2 years post‑qualification surveying experience.
• VRS registration.
• Strong experience in residential valuations and surveys.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage your own diary effectively.

Required skills

• RICS Home Survey methodology.
• Mortgage valuation techniques.
• Proficiency with report writing software.

What we offer

• On‑target earnings up to £100,000.
• Fee split of 50 %–55 %.
• Consultancy basis with complete flexibility.
• Minimum workload of 10 points per week, spread over at least two days.
• Full administrative support and remote/home‑based working (Monday‑Friday).
• Work allocated within a 25‑mile radius of your home.
