Residential Surveyor – Remote, Flexible Hours

About the role

We are seeking an AssocRICS‑qualified Residential Surveyor to join a thriving chartered surveying practice serving the Chester area. The role offers remote or home‑based working within a 25‑mile radius, with the option of full‑time or part‑time hours.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct RICS Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys for residential properties.
• Perform mortgage valuations for lenders.
• Prepare accurate, professional reports using industry‑leading software.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure all surveys and valuations comply with RICS standards and are completed on schedule.
• Manage your own diary and workload efficiently.

Required profile

• AssocRICS qualification (or higher) and VRS registration.
• Minimum two years of post‑qualification surveying experience.
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• RICS Level 2 HomeBuyer Survey methodology.
• Mortgage valuation techniques.
• Report writing software.

• Basic salary £52,500‑£70,500 per year (depending on experience and days worked).
