Residential Surveyor – Remote with Flexible Hours

About the role

We are seeking an AssocRICS‑qualified Residential Surveyor to join a thriving chartered surveying practice serving the Southend‑on‑Sea area. The role offers remote or home‑based working, flexible full‑time or part‑time hours, and the chance to earn a competitive salary plus bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out RICS Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys for residential properties.
• Undertake mortgage valuations for lenders.
• Produce accurate, professional reports using industry‑leading software.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure all surveys and valuations meet RICS standards and agreed timelines.
• Manage your own diary and workload efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the survey process.

Required profile

• AssocRICS qualification or higher.
• Minimum two years post‑qualification surveying experience.
• VRS registration.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
