Residential Surveyor – Taunton

About the role

Connells Survey & Valuation is seeking a Residential Surveyor to join its Taunton office. You will carry out mortgage valuations and Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys, delivering accurate reports that help lenders and homeowners make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct residential mortgage valuations and Level 2 & Level 3 surveys in line with RICS standards and company quality benchmarks.
• Prepare clear, detailed valuation and survey reports for clients and lenders.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, lenders and internal teams.
• Manage your diary and workload independently, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, accuracy and customer service.

Required profile

• Qualified as AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS (or willing to obtain qualification).
• Experience in mortgage valuations and residential surveys preferred, with training provided if needed.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to work autonomously.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality survey and valuation reports.
