Resource Scheduler – Workforce Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Resource Scheduler to join our fast‑paced operational team in Newcastle. You will support workforce planning for both contact‑centre and back‑office functions, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast demand and analyse capacity across permanent, temporary and contractor workforces.
• Identify resource gaps and develop effective schedules to meet customer and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Planning teams to provide insight‑driven recommendations on headcount needs.
• Monitor performance data, spot trends and mitigate risks related to staffing.
• Support large‑scale programmes such as PPI, Motor Finance, Insurance Remediation or Claims Operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workforce scheduling, capacity planning or resource management.
• Background in contact‑centre or back‑office environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
• Effective stakeholder management across Operations and Planning functions.
