Restaurant Customer Advisor

About the role

As a Restaurant Customer Advisor you will be the front‑line ambassador of our coffee shop and restaurant spaces, delivering a warm, efficient service that enhances the overall guest experience. You will help customers enjoy tasty meals, maintain high food‑hygiene standards, and promote our Dobbies Club membership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers in the coffee shop.
• Drive sales through proactive interaction and upselling of menu items and club benefits.
• Answer customer queries with thorough knowledge of the menu, allergens and dietary requirements.
• Work across front‑of‑house, kitchen and coffee‑machine areas to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the store in partnership with the team.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience with a smile.
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing or hospitality role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Team‑player who builds relationships, celebrates success and arrives on time.
• Well‑presented, hardworking and eager to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
