The Restaurant General Manager leads the Thornton Heath KFC outlet, taking full ownership of performance, people, culture and results. You will ensure every guest receives a brilliant experience while building a high‑performing, future‑ready team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant with confidence, setting standards for performance, culture and operational excellence.
• Make sound, data‑driven decisions that deliver immediate results and support long‑term success.
• Develop and coach a leadership team, delegating authority and recognising great performance.
• Recruit, attract and develop diverse talent, creating clear career pathways for future leaders.
• Maintain smooth daily operations by planning labour, managing stock and removing performance barriers.
• Deliver fast, friendly and consistent service, using guest feedback to continuously improve the experience.
• Drive change initiatives and shape the future direction of the restaurant.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading a restaurant or similar hospitality operation.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on results and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to stay calm, decisive and accountable during busy or challenging periods.
• Excellent people‑management skills, with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
