Restaurant Manager – Hourly Shift Leader

About the role

As an Hourly Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane’s in Kingston Upon Thames, you will support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations, ensuring the restaurant meets brand standards while delivering excellent customer service. This full‑time, on‑site role combines shift leadership with hands‑on involvement in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant, managing cash handling and accountability.
• Lead shift teams, directing crew members and ensuring compliance with Raising Cane’s policies and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of all restaurant zones.
• Deliver exemplary customer service and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Utilise reward and recognition programmes to motivate staff.
• Authorize employee functions that require manager approval, such as discounts and time‑clock overrides.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment that includes standing, walking, lifting and exposure to varied temperatures.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to upholding brand culture.
