Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for a BBQ‑focused venue in Bishop’s Stortford. The restaurant combines American smokers and an Argentinian charcoal grill to serve slow‑cooked comfort food, craft cocktails, and beers in a relaxed yet trendy setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house operations to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
• Train and coach the front‑of‑house team to maximise revenue and maintain standards.
• Assist with day‑to‑day business tasks, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the venue.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow during peak periods.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a strong enthusiasm for casual‑style dining concepts.
• Excellent customer service attitude with the ability to resolve guest issues promptly.
• Experience working in a restaurant or similar food‑service environment.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
