Restructuring Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Restructuring Manager to join Stonebridge Executive Search in London. The successful candidate will support distressed businesses through formal insolvency processes and complex international cases, while developing their management and team‑leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a mixed portfolio of insolvency cases, ensuring proactive and efficient progression.
• Liaise with appointees and internal staff to keep all parties informed of relevant issues.
• Provide support on independent business reviews and other advisory assignments.
• Review and supervise staff work, offering constructive feedback and on‑the‑job training.
• Assist partners/directors in meeting stakeholder needs and expanding service offerings.
• Attend appropriate marketing events and represent the firm.
• Review statutory documents for compliance with insolvency regulations.
• Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work carried out and business issues.
• Help manage work‑in‑progress and debtor relationships on a client‑by‑client basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Restructuring & Insolvency space, with substantial experience of corporate administration or liquidation insolvencies.
• Strong knowledge of insolvency legislation and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to organise and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience managing and delegating work to a team.
• CPI qualification required; ACA/ACCA/JIEB qualifications desirable (study support available).
