About the role
Farmfoods is seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant for its Thetford store. This permanent part‑time position offers early‑morning shifts across four days a week, totalling at least 16 hours.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and assist them in locating products.
- Operate tills efficiently, offering help with packing and ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
- Receive deliveries, handle stock carefully, and replenish shelves and freezers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy shop environment by following daily and weekly routines.
Required profile
- Positive, hard‑working attitude and enjoyment of a busy retail environment.
- Reliability and flexibility to cover occasional shift variations.
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required.
Required skills

- Hourly pay of £10.95 (ages 16‑20) or £12.81 (21+).
