Retail Assistant – Part‑time Evenings & Weekends

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Assistant to join our Gorseinon shop in Swansea on a permanent part‑time basis. The role covers 12 hours across three days each week, with shifts on weekday evenings and all day during weekends. This position is ideal for anyone who wants a flexible schedule while gaining retail experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and assist them in finding products.
• Operate the tills efficiently, offering help with packing and ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
• Handle deliveries, stock shelves and freezers, and maintain product presentation.
• Work with the team to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Support daily and weekly routines such as stock rotation and cleaning.

• Reliability and the ability to be counted on by teammates and customers.
• Flexibility to adapt shift patterns when covering for colleagues on holiday.
• Commitment to arriving on time and completing tasks to a high standard.
