Retail Communications Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Retail Communications Coordinator to join the Communications team in Warrington. In this varied role you will support the delivery of retail communications, marketing activity and social media engagement across Age UK’s shop network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely updates to shops on campaigns, operations, sales performance and social media initiatives.
• Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing and communications materials.
• Manage routine administrative tasks, maintain records and trackers.
• Support shop teams with simple social‑media posting, access and administration queries.
• Collaborate closely with the Retail Operational Support Manager and the Marketing & Social Media Manager.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and confidence in supporting shop teams.
• Ability to follow agreed processes, use templates and maintain consistent standards.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Good written communication skills for drafting clear and friendly copy.
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reports, trackers and documents.
• Excellent stakeholder interaction skills, both in‑person and digitally.
