Retail Growth Executive - Liverpool

About the role

Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group, a multi-national lottery operator, is recruiting a Retail Growth Executive for its Retail Sales Team in Liverpool. The team supports existing National Lottery retailers to increase returns to good causes, drives sales, runs retailer training and manages the retail estate. As Retail Growth Executive you will own a territory, build strong relationships with retailers and deliver the retail revenue and marketing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of your territory, retailers and competitors to drive sales and returns to good causes.
• Support the Annual Business Plan by delivering key messages and marketing updates to the retail network.
• Deliver retail revenue and marketing plans, support in-store standards and advocate the commercial value of The National Lottery.
• Own territory management plans, prepare store visits and drive high in-store standards.
• Build and maintain retailer relationships and ensure retailers comply with player protection through the Retail Training Centre.
• Review Retail Sales Team objectives against agreed measures, working cross territory and divisionally where required.
• Bring retail insight and new ways of working into Allwyn, and develop yourself through your Personal Development plan.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience or customer service (field desirable but not essential).
• Strong sales and commercial acumen, with experience of face-to-face consultative selling.
• Confident, articulate and able to build relationships through a consultative approach.
• Ability to analyse data and provide insight to customers.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the territory and wider regions.

Required skills

• Ability to use IT packages and be flexible across different packages.
• Ability to deliver effective training to people at all levels.
