Retail Sales Assistant – Tile Store

About the role

Join Topps Tiles as a Sales Assistant in Liverpool and help customers bring their tiling projects to life. You will work in a small, supportive team, providing advice and service while driving store revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting tiles and related products for both trade and retail projects.
• Provide product knowledge and design guidance to inspire and inform shoppers.
• Process sales transactions and handle the till efficiently.
• Maintain store presentation, including stocking and lifting heavy boxes of tiles.
• Build and nurture relationships with regular trade customers.

Required profile

• Friendly, outgoing attitude with a positive approach to customer service.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week, including occasional weekends.
• Willingness to lift and move heavy tile boxes.
• Minimum age of 18.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy for handling cash and sales transactions.
