Retail Store Supervisor

About the role

As a Retail Store Supervisor at JD Sports you will ensure the shop floor runs smoothly and that customers receive the high‑standard service the brand promises. You will lead a team during each shift, support daily operations and help drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, resolve queries and maintain brand‑aligned team presentation.
• Support sales by monitoring service levels, using in‑store devices to showcase the full product range and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain visual and operational standards, keeping the shop floor clean, organised and on‑brand.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures, cash handling, till reconciliation and other daily operational duties.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in a fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong communication skills with confidence to guide and support colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards in service and presentation.
• Passion for retail, product awareness and alignment with JD Group values.

Required skills

• Cash handling and till operation.
• Use of in‑store retail devices for product presentation.
