Retail Supervisor – Full‑time (39 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Supervisor to join our Bolsover store. The role is full‑time, 39 hours per week across five days, and involves supporting the store manager in delivering excellent customer service and efficient shop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in leading the team and maintaining high standards of service.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, and process transactions.
• Manage deliveries, stock replenishment and ensure the shop is clean, safe and well‑presented.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Develop and coach retail assistants, covering scheduling and performance.

• Reliability and trustworthiness in a small team environment.
• Willingness to be fully flexible with shift patterns, including weekends.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale operation.
• Ability to follow health‑and‑safety and store procedures.
