Retail Supervisor – Full‑time (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Supervisor for our Leeds store. This permanent, full‑time position offers 39 hours across five days, with a competitive hourly rate and a range of benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Support the store manager in leading the team and delivering excellent customer service.
• Take charge of the shop in the manager’s absence, including opening, closing, cash handling and stock deliveries.
• Manage operational costs, shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Place orders, maintain store standards and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Develop and coach retail assistants.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive and hardworking attitude.
• Strong people skills and ability to build good working relationships.
• Trustworthy, reliable and able to work flexibly, including weekends.
• Some supervisory or team‑lead experience in retail or a similar sector is desirable.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling.
• Ability to use retail ordering systems.
• Understanding of stock control and cost management.
