Retail Supervisor – Part‑time (Hove)

About the role

Superdrug is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join our Hove store on a part‑time basis. You will support the management team, lead a small team of colleagues and help deliver the high‑quality service our customers expect.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with day‑to‑day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Motivate and coach team members to meet sales, profit and service targets.
• Maintain store presentation standards, stock shelves and ensure the shop floor is tidy.
• Help reduce shrinkage and minimise till errors through accurate cash handling.
• Promote Star Buys and other promotional offers to enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in a fast‑paced high‑street retail environment (preferred).
• Understanding of retail KPIs such as sales, profit and service metrics.
• Ability to develop others and improve team performance.
• Willingness to learn optional services such as piercing (training provided).

Required skills

• Leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong customer‑service focus.
• Basic numeracy for cash handling and stock control.
