Retail Team Leader (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Retail Team Leader to join our SPAR Drumahoe store. Reporting to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager, you will help drive an exceptional shopping experience while supporting the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the store team in line with store policies, standards and practices.
• Take keyholder responsibility and manage the store in the absence of senior leaders.
• Train, coach and schedule staff to ensure the right resources are in place at the right time.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing the store plan and achieving performance targets.
• Promote community initiatives and, when required, cover the Post Office.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years to meet legislative requirements.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a customer‑focused retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to listen to customers and team members.
• Target‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
