Retail Team Member – Store Assistant

About the role

Join Tesco as a Colleague at the Wells Superstore and help deliver excellent service to shoppers. The role offers a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (or as low as 12 hours) with flexible scheduling within set availability windows.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers with passion, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
• Work across the store, including service, picking, and replenishment areas.
• Follow health and safety training to maintain a safe environment.
• Handle product deliveries and ensure items are cared for and presented correctly.
• Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
• Contribute to store performance by supporting sales, reducing waste, and driving profit.

Required profile

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Enthusiastic about delivering great customer service.
• Willing to work flexible hours within the advertised windows.
• Team‑oriented and able to follow company policies and values.
