Revenue Manager

About the role

Happy Days Nurseries is expanding its support hub in Swindon and seeks a commercially‑minded Revenue Manager to turn data into action. You will lead a team, shape pricing and funding strategies, and ensure income across our growing nursery portfolio is maximised and accurately recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual reviews of nursery fees and ensure systems are updated correctly.
• Produce regular income reports and insights for senior leaders.
• Monitor income, identify risks and opportunities, and forecast future revenue.
• Manage billing, payment collection, debt reporting and cash‑flow planning.
• Collaborate with Early Years Managers to improve payment collection and reduce overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial data in the nursery management system.
• Oversee government‑funded childcare schemes, prepare funding claims and verify payments.
• Support new nurseries joining the group and embed standard ways of working.
• Identify and implement improvements to systems, reporting and processes.
• Ensure all funding claims and reporting meet regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and develop a team of six finance professionals.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with strong financial knowledge.
• Understanding of early years and nursery operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop people.
• Experience improving processes and driving results.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
