Revit Technician (Permanent)

About the role

Stairmaster is seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join its team on a permanent PAYE basis in Whittlesey, Peterborough. The role involves creating detailed 3D stair models, producing fabrication‑ready documentation, and collaborating with design and construction partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of stair systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce shop drawings and construction documentation ready for fabrication.
• Coordinate stair models with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to generate accurate stair layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and project specifications.
• Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Revise models and drawings based on engineering feedback and field measurements.
• Maintain drawing standards and organized file structures.
• Collaborate with production and project management to align design intent with manufacturing capabilities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience using Autodesk Revit (preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
• Experience producing shop drawings for fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
