RF Test Technician

About the role

Saab UK is seeking a motivated RF Inspection & Test Technician to join the Production department at its Fareham site. You will support the testing and inspection of the G1X software‑defined radar and related sensor units, helping to meet production targets and maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect produced radar items and sub‑assemblies for compliance with specifications.
• Perform functional testing of G1X radar units and related electronics.
• Carry out soldering and electrical loom work to company standards.
• Interpret and follow electrical drawings and documented test procedures.
• Record test results accurately and report any non‑conformities.
• Collaborate with the Swedish team for training and knowledge transfer.
• Assist teammates by sharing knowledge and providing informal training.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with a focus on achieving production goals.
• Ability to work safely and ethically in a team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel to Sweden for training when required.
