About the role

This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent, based in the Horsham area. The successful candidate will lead a small team responsible for operating ride‑on mowers and maintaining outdoor grounds. Immediate start is required for a client seeking a reliable and hardworking leader.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of ride‑on mower crews.
• Plan and execute grounds maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of appearance.
• Maintain equipment, conduct routine checks, and report any issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate with site managers and provide progress updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating ride‑on lawn mowers.
• Background in outdoor grounds maintenance.
• Experience leading or supporting a small team is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Valid UK driving licence.
