Risk Manager – Hybrid (Stansted Airport)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to support a major infrastructure transformation programme at Stansted Airport. Working within the Programme Risk Team, you will facilitate risk workshops, maintain risk registers, conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, produce monthly risk reports and embed best‑practice risk management across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate risk workshops and engage stakeholders.
• Maintain and update risk registers for all programme projects.
• Support both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis activities.
• Produce and present monthly risk status reports.
• Promote and embed risk management standards (ISO 31000, APM, IRM) throughout the programme.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure risk mitigation actions are implemented.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk management or project controls on large infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Knowledge of risk management principles such as ISO 31000, APM or IRM.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops and maintaining risk registers.
• Exposure to QCRA/QSRA processes.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• BPSS clearance minimum; ability to obtain CTC and Airside Pass.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

What we offer

• Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite at Stansted Airport.
• Contract until May 2027, 40 hours per week.
• Rate up to £450 per day (umbrella rate).
