Risk & Reporting Analyst

About the role

Our client, a joint venture between a technology solutions provider for banking and a global alternative investment fund manager, is seeking a Risk & Reporting Analyst in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring and controlling risk across their investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Aggregate risks at fund level, perform risk analytics and generate monthly reports in line with OPERA reporting guidelines.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of data in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage regulatory analytics and produce the required regulatory returns each month or quarter.
• Conduct rigorous checks to ensure report accuracy before distribution.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to deliver checked files for sign‑off in a timely manner.

Required profile

• 2:1 degree from a top 25 UK university.
• Proven experience in data analysis.
• Familiarity with risk concepts and regulatory frameworks such as the FCA’s AIFMD Annex IV and SEC’s Form PF (a bonus).
