Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Hotel du Vin Cambridge you will join the Housekeeping team to ensure every guest bedroom is cleaned to the highest standards each day. You will interact with guests, so conversational English and the ability to work independently are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all guest bedrooms daily, meeting the brand’s quality standards.
• Maintain and operate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Follow set shift patterns, typically 9 am‑3 pm, five days a week, with flexible start times.
• Report any maintenance issues or missing supplies to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Uphold health and safety standards, requiring a reasonable level of fitness.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; previous experience not required.
• Good conversational English for guest interaction.
• Ability to work alone for periods of time and follow instructions.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
